Having achieved over 96% direct bookings in his own hotel – The Cranleigh Boutique – Adam Hamadache launched hotel digital marketing agency DHM in 2013 to help independent hotels reduce their over-reliance on commissionable bookings and secure more lucrative direct business. Adam is best-known as the author of Amazon best-selling book The Direct Method.

Julian Ebbutt
Managing Director, Best Loved Hotels
Julian Ebbutt is a highly experienced hospitality professional with over 30 years’ experience, working at all levels in the industry including numerous hotel openings, 5-star properties, budget hotels, independent and group owned properties. For over 10 years Julian owned and operated his own 5-star boutique hotel in the Cotswolds. Since March 2015 he has been managing director of www.bestloved.com

Petra Clayton
Managing Director, Custard Communications
Petra Clayton launched Custard Communications in 2007 to combat the churn of PR and champion clever campaigns for independent hotels needing strategic support as well as delivery. With more than 24 years in hospitality marketing, Petra is a frequent commentator on relationship marketing, PR, partnerships and brand development. Petra has also relished the opportunity to share her teaching and marketing expertise with the industry and is a trainer for the Master Innholders Aspiring Leaders Diploma.
